What we have done

Have you always wanted to increase your method team’s knowledge-base, but didn’t know how? Have you always wanted to become a Karakuri Kaizen expert, but didn’t know where to start? We’ve compiled our collective knowledge about these smart and seamless devices. We have assembled a list of the absolute necessary skills for designing, creating and building passive robots.

 

You’ll need to master a certain number of skills before getting started on “before and after” bots. But not to worry, they are simple and easy to learn, but absolutely necessary to get a handle on. AIO company is in the process of producing a brand-new platform for our customers. We believe in sharing this knowledge that matters. It could actually become a learning basis for beginners that are just starting out or confirmed professionals who would like to review a certain skillset.

The steps are as followed:

 

1.     Become a member of our online community.

2.     Review what bi-stable mechanisms are.

Bi-stable mechanisms are mechanical systems with two stable positions. One common example of this phenomenon is a light switch. We use it for more complicated uses though.

 

3.     Discover how plate cams work.

Plate cams are the most common of cams. A cam is a moving piece, part of a mechanical system. You can check out some of these diagrams to get a head start.

 

4.     Delve into differing linear cams.

These linear cams are different to plate cams. They use rather straight lines than rotating systems. They are perfect for the frames we use!

 

5.     Learn about the potential of different energy storages.

One of the most important phases in a karakuri’s use is its potential to obtain and store energy.

 

6.     Study what mechanical detection is like.

Though it sounds unfeasible, we have the capacity of allowing an entirely mechanical device to detect other things, without the use of computer vision!

 

7.     Hone your sheaving skills.

Another one of the most frequently used processes in our kaizen toolbelt, sheaving with blue rope and pullies.

 

8.     Get sharper information about using friction.

You need to be careful with friction and overuse of materials.

 

9.     Go further and find out about clutches and their mechanical use.

Another mechanical device that can allow you to engage and disengage the transmission of power. It is very useful when handling production rhythms.

 

10.  Apply your newly ascertained knowledge to the shop floor!
